Dr. Saba Kadlec received her Bachelors degree in biology from the University of Illinois in 2002, continued her education by attending Chicago Medical School/Rosalind Franklin University, and graduated with her M.D. in 2006. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinios Eye and Ear Infirmary in 2010, and proceeded to gain yet more ophthalmological training by completing a Fellowship specializing in cornea and external ocular disease, and refractive surgery in 2011. Dr. Kadlec is certified through the American Board of Ophthalmology and has also served as a consulting member on the Allergan Dry Eye Advisory Board.

While Dr. Kadlec's area of specialty lies with treating the cornea and anterior portions of the eye, she possesses extensive training and experience in treating all aspects of surgical and medical eye care including corneal transplants, dry eye, ocular surface diseases, cataracts and glaucoma.

Along with her husband, Adam, and two children, Dr. Kadlec enjoys exercise and spending quality time with her family.
