About
Dr. Matthew Currie joined Holland Eye Surgery & Laser Center in 2023. Prior to this, he practiced in Ohio for 10 years before moving to Holland to be close to family. His practice of comprehensive eye care includes extensive experience in surgical and medical eye disorders including cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetes. He has a special interest in laser guided cataract surgery and advanced technology intraocular lenses.
Dr. Currie volunteers on medical service trips to Honduras. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, friends and family, reading philosophy and history, walking for exercise, and playing pickleball.
Dr. Currie is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
